Greyfang was darting back to Mountainclan's camp as he got the news of Flowerpath's kit birth. It was pouring and thundering out. As he got to the camp he heard mewing and squealing of frightened kits. He rushed into his den and grabbed raspberry leaves and a stick off the ground. He rushed over to the nursery to care for Flowerpath. Warirors where talking amongst themselves hoping the kit would survive this weather.
A light brown she-kit named Soullesskit sat with her tail curled around her paws in the corner of the nursery eyes narrowed.
" I am not going to like this new kit " she mumbled to herself. She stood up and stalked out of the nursery into the pouring rain.

Soullesskit sat in the rain eyes narrowed as the birth was going on. A new squeal has appraoched Soulless ears. The new kit has arrived but she didnt care. Soullesskit still sat and her ears perked as she heard paw steps padding toward her she turned her head to see foreststar padding toward her.

" What are you doing out of the nursery, you could get sick out here. " she said nosing Soulless back toward the nursery.

"I'm not going " Soullesskit replied standing her ground.

Foreststar's eyes widened as the kit stood her ground and refused to go back into the nursery.

" why ever so? " Foreststar asked stepping over soulless to protect her from the rain.

Foreststar's ear perked as she heard paw steps coming toward her from the nursery.

"The new kit is here and it is healthy as ever. It is another she-cat. " he said.

" Good " Foreststar replied nodding. " can you see whats up with soullesskit while i go check out the new kit? "

" sure " greyfang replied as he stood over soulless protectign her from the rain as foreststar was. a sudden yowl came from the nursery as a queen Rosememory came running out.

" Acekit is missing! " the queen yowled in disgrace.

" All warriors check around camp quickly, Acekit needs to be found and quick! " Foreststar demanded.

( out of camp )

Acekit padded around with a leaf on top of her. Acekit is always curious of her surroundings. She padded until she heard the river sound.

" maybe i can catch a fish " she mewed hopefully. " and help the clan. " Her eyes widened with happiness in the thought and padded toward the sound. She stopped by the river and put her paws into the river in search for a fish. She spotted a fish and went to pounce onto it thinking it was normal pray, not thinking of the fast flowing river. She went into a crouch and began to pounce and fell into the fast flowing river and gripped onto a twig sticking out.

" Help " she squealed accidently letting go of the twig and disappeared into the black water.

" Foreststar Acekit is no where to be found " greyfang reported.

" What a bad time for her to go missing, the rain washes away her sent. I must send patrols. Greyfang go with Rosememory, Tulipclaw, and blackwing to search out of camp. The rest will keep looking here " Foreststar demanded.

" Yes foreststar " he said bowing his head and going to get the other warriors.

Acesong little head popped out letting out a little squeal before being washed back under. She squirmed to keep herself up but it was no use. She popped her head out again squealing taking a breathe before sinking down to the bottom of the river.

Acekit lay motionless on the surface.

As the greyfang and the warriors left the camp they heard paddling in the river and rushed over.

" My kit! " Rosememory yowled running over to her motionless kit as the others darted after her.

" Is she alright? " she turned to face the unseen warrior. " who are you...? " she demanded.

greyfang sat next to the kit examining it. As rosememory approached the unknown warrior.

Rosememory checked her surrounding.

" Sorry to have trespassed, i just saw my kit on the ground here and you know, queens reflexes. " rosememory explained.

Greyfang looked up from the kit. " she will be fine " he said as he looked at the hurt warrior, and padded over to him. " That looks deep he examined, I must take care of that for you. " he explained. " i cant let a warrior who saved a kit of ours walk away with a wound like this. " he started chewing marigold and spitting it on the wound.

" Oh thank starclan! " Rosememory said turning to her kit and licking her the wrong way warming her.

A slight wail came from Acesong as she blinked open her eyes.

" Mama? " acesong asked.

" I'm here and you are not to leave camp i told you that before you could have died "

" yes mama " acekit said with her ears drooped. Rosememory continued to lick her kit and greyfang continued to fix the wound on dancingflame.

Greyfang shook his head. " you could have never made it like this, this wound is too deep " he said places cobwebs on. " there done "

"Thanks for saving our kit" darkwing said to dancingflame.

" is something wrong? " greyfang asked dancingflame as he could see he was concerned about something.

Rosememory and acekit where heading back to camp.

Greyfang looked puzzled." oh well....., we got to go back to our camp " he said turning away and padding off the other 2 behind him. " A kit was just born ". He padded toward his camp leaving dancingflame to find his mate.
