He got out of the car after unbuckling. He rolled his eyes, a smile still on his face.

"Of course I know you..." he said, "And Icy...you're his mother. We had one night together. Ju-just what's your name again?"

"Circe," she said, trying not to cry at that small detail.

Sivain.

Sivain got out of the car as well, shutting the door behind her.

Ash tilted his head. "What's wrong, Circe?" he asked as he raised a hand to run it through her hair. His eyes reflected his concern.

"Why did you forget my name?" Circe asked. She leaned into his touch.

"Can we get him a pink collar?" Sivain asked.

Sivain.

Sivain parked the car and got out, looking at the hospital. It was weird coming without Kratos.

After getting his room, Kratos was headed there. He had just finished talking with Garret. The man brought shivers up his spine.

Ash became more distant after the recent fight he and Yogan had. He didn't remember much. He didn't even remember how to cook or how to play his favorite instrument, the violin. Each time he picked it up, he would drop it as soon as he heard it make noise. He sat on the bed, not really doing anything. He had gotten paler, if possible because of the lack of sun.

Circe.

Circe often spent time locked in the basement, developing something that would allow her to control Yogan. She wanted Ash to be happy. She emerged and locked the door brhind her, putting the key around her neck once more.

Sivain.

Sivain got up to the office. Almost as soon as she settled in the waiting room, she was called in. She followed the nurse to the examining room.

"Mommy," Icy said, approaching Circe, "where's Daddy?"

Kratos opened the door to his room and relaxed on the bed immediately. He took out his phone and looked at it. He wondered when Sivain was going to call. He missed her already.

Circe.

"Check the room we share, Icy," said Circe, sighing.

Sivain.

Sivain waited a few minutes before the doctor came. She was glad they weren't busy. She and the doctor greeted each other. After a quick question and answer session, the check up began. Sivain laid back, lifting up her shirt.

The doctor listened for the heartbeat. Moments ticked by. "Oh my," said the doctor. "I can't find the baby's heartbeat." Sivain became incredibly scared. "What does that mean?" she asked the doctor.
"It means we need to do an emergency Caesarean section as soon as possible. Preferably now," the doctor stated.
"May I call my husband? Just to let him know what's going on," Sivain asked.
"Of course. I'll go send down the paperwork. Head there when you're ready," the doctor said.

Sivain thanked her and the doctor left, closing the door. Sivain started to cry as she dialed her husband's number and pressed "Talk".

"Mommy, why is Daddy so distant? Why does he seem scared?"

He was sleeping when the phone went off. Fortunately, he wasn't in a deep sleep. He answered his phone tiredly, "Hello?" he said, sleep laced with drowsiness.

"K-Kratos? I-It's Sivain," she said, sobbing.

Circe.

"Because your grandfather harmed him."

"I saw something like lightning." he said. "From my room..."

"Sivain, Sivain, mi amor, que pasa?"

"T-The doctor c-couldn't find h-his heartbeat," she said, still crying.

Circe.

"Then it was Yogan. I'll find out what he did. Try to comfort your father," said Circe.

He sat up, he tried to think of something to comfort her, but he couldn't. He was just as brokenhearted. He had high hopes for the baby too. "We can try again," he said quietly, "we can try again, Sivain..."

"Okay," Icy said as he went off to his parent's room.

Yogan was on the couch calmly.

Circe approached Yogan and went to backhand him across the face.

Sivain.

"S-She wants m-me to h-have an e-emergency C-section as s-soon as possible," she told her husband. She hoped it wasn't too late.

Not seeing the incoming attack, Yogan was smacked and he looked rather confused.

"Take it," he said quickly, "calm down and take the procedure..."

"I aught to kill you, Yogan," she told him. "But the way Ash is, I wouldn't be surprised if he commits suicide."

Sivain.

"W-When can y-you come home?" Sivain asked.

Clearly, Yogan still didn't understand why he was being punished for something he doesn't know about.

"Soon." he said.

"P-Please let s-soon be in t-the next t-twenty-four h-hours," she said. Sivain was still trying to calm down.

Circe.

"Ash is distant. He won't play the violin, cook, or go outside. It's your fault, Yogan. Fix it."

He shook his head.
