He approached the front door. When he was close enough, he opened the door and called out, "We're home!" he said, jokingly; trying to lighten up the mood. Sion approached, prompt as always and gave a weak smile to Kinsey and Esperance.

Platinume was kneeling beside Delilah's bed, his arms folded as a pillow for his head. His face was buried in it. He was asleep but was slowly waking up, the indicator being the cape of feathers merging into one or falling to keep it lightweight as it morphed.

Platinume moved his head a little, then he yawned and straightened out, rubbing his eyes. His nose, ears and cheeks were stained red on his ivory skin. It was obvious he cried himself to sleep like a little child.

He got up and turned around. When he saw Kinsey, he approached took only one step at first, but eventually went on to embrace her into a hug.

Platinume held her closer, "Kin-Kinsey, my daughter...Del-Delilah...I can't believe she's....she's..." The following word died at his throat, unable to be said. "She was about to be six..."

- It broke Kinsey's heart to see him like this. She stroked his hair, tears of her own falling. "I know Platinume," she said, trying to comfort him despite her own sorrow.

He broke away from her a bit, avoiding her eyes. He fell silent for a while before talking. "...I hate to see you cry." He reached to wipe away her tears with his thumbs.

"Where have you been?" he asked quietly. He glanced at her when he asked that question, his eyes searching for answers. "I was...scared. Scared that something bad happened."

He watched his daughter still as Kinsey stroked Delilah's black locks. He reached over and took out a hairpin that was in her hair. He held it out for Kinsey. "She would have...wanted you to have one."
